What, is this your first fandom? It’s the nature of fandom to produce works that provide the things the canon cannot, and sometimes that’s comedy or analysis, but a lot of the time it’s explicit depictions of hot people naked and/or getting it on. This has been the case since the fanzine era, and it’s risibly naive of you to expect anything else, especially in a fanwork- rather than meta-oriented space like Tumblr.

As for the “gay characters” of which you complain, I can’t speak for the rest of the fandom, but I am “okay with” depictions of homosexual activity because I am an actual honest-to-god queer person. I’m super sorry to hear that you’re being oppressed by the presence of people on the internet who like things that you don’t, though. That must be way, way harder than having fewer-than-average legal rights and protections. My heart bleeds for you.
